KHEWA'S HISTORY


 

Getting from the idea to the business project was a whole adventure. It’s however a major attachment to the different Nation and with the desire to promote the beauties of the Natives culture which motivated a single mother in this project.

In 1998, afterwards some multiple activities supporting the promotion of the Natives culture, the idea is taking to the “magnifique” site of Wakefield.

1999 was a significant stage: it is the beginning of the business plan. A hard reality strikes: KHEWA is an innovative concept and the promoter are in need to constantly have to specify the project.

2000 : Money seeking. They hesitated, but throughout tenacity, perseverance and a good amount of confidence from family and friends, the hesitation leaves room to the excitement to see the shop taking form. The loan was there.

2001 the restorations begin. The concept of the Natives boutique and art gallery KHEWA is emerging from paper to a very fine boutique.

September 2001: We are in business. Finally! The Natives boutique and art gallery KHEWA is the accomplishment of multiple effort toward the promotion of the Natives art "We are conscious we have not yet accomplish our goal. This is why we are constantly seeking ways to improve the presentation of the products in order to return their right cultural value to them." to underline the CEO, Mrs. Nathalie Coutou.
